Family-run exterior cleaning in Skipton and across West Yorkshire
Block paving, flags, Indian stone and concrete brought back to how they looked when they were laid.
Drives and patios pick up algae, tyre marks, moss between the joints and a general grey film that creeps in so slowly most people stop noticing it. A proper clean usually surprises them.
There’s no cookie-cutter answer here. The right method and treatment depend on the surface, its condition and what you want from the finish, so no two jobs are the same. We treat every driveway on its own merits, which is why we visit in person first to assess it and talk you through the approach we’d recommend for yours.
Joints are cleared before washing so the surface cleaner can do its job properly.
Every surface is different, so we don't work to a fixed template — we assess each job in person and match the method and treatment to your surface and the finish you're after.
Block paving is re-sanded to lock the blocks together and keep the surface stable.
An optional sealer helps resist oil, moss and staining and keeps the colour looking fresh for longer.
Algae makes flags and stone genuinely slippery in wet weather, especially in shaded spots.
The drive is the first thing anyone sees, and buyers notice it too.
Sand-filled joints and clear drainage stop movement, sinking and weed damage.

Some sand always comes out with the weeds and moss, which is why we re-sand as standard using kiln dried sand brushed into every joint. It locks the blocks back together and slows down regrowth.
Most fresh oil marks lift with a degreaser and hot rinse. Older stains that have soaked deep into porous slabs can fade rather than vanish, and we will always be honest about that before we start.
We do, and it is worth considering on sandstone, Indian stone and block paving. Sealing keeps dirt on the surface and makes the next clean far easier. It is quoted separately so you can decide.
Usually the same day. If we have sealed the surface we ask you to keep off it for around 24 hours so the sealer cures properly.
We cover Skipton and the surrounding towns and villages, from Settle and Grassington down through Silsden, Bingley and Shipley to Guiseley, Ilkley and Baildon. If you are not sure whether you are in our patch, just ask.
Most enquiries get an answer the same day. Send over a couple of photos if you can, it helps us give you an accurate price without a site visit.
